Amanda began her art career with a degree in 3D design and photography from West Surrey College of Art and Design, and straight out of college produced kiln formed glass for sale exclusively through Aaronson galleries in Piccadilly London, and Edinburgh, Scotland.

She has painted all her life and for the most part has produced photo-realistic work, in watercolour and acrylic on canvas.  She has exhibited in galleries in London, Malvern and Oxfordshire and her work is in collections worldwide.

In more recent years Amanda has returned to her 3D roots and now specialises in creating beautiful, intricate and detailed cut watercolour paper, and polymer clay artworks. She loves using watercolour, gold leaf and gold ink, and creating interesting colour graduations.

Recently she has also produced some completely white artworks which she continues to explore.

Her inspirations come from nature – flowers, insects, birds, and fish, but also from favourite films and books, such as The Italian Job and Jonathan Livingstone Seagull.

Amanda works from her tranquil home studio in North Oxfordshire, UK.

Please get in touch to talk through your bespoke commission requirements/ideas, and you can find her current artworks for sale online at Artfinder.
