Amanda studied art, photography, ceramics, textiles, and design from an early age and gained a BA Hons degree in 3D Design and Photography at West Surrey
College of Art and Design.
In the early 80's she started gliding and spent most of her time on airfields around the UK, France and South Africa.
Joining the Guild of Aviation Artists in 1987 she regularly exhibited with them at the Mall Galleries in London.
One of her passions is horses and her love for them as a subject and as recreation has remained with her to this day. As a member of The Society of Equestrian Artists she has exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London.
Amanda creates drawings in pencil or pastels, and paintings in acrylic on canvas or watercolour, and is also a photographer.
She has taught watercolours, run ceramics club at an independent school in Buckinghamshire, and managed a gallery in Covent Garden, London.
